About Me

Hi! I’m so glad you stopped by. My name is Jamie Page and I am a 24 year old writer, singer, world traveler and people lover! I started my blog Highly High Maintenance to write about my experiences as a young professional, post college, living with Type One Diabetes, in hopes that there is someone out there (fingers crossed) that can relate to the little things we all experience in life at this age!

My blog shares thoughts on the day to day experiences that young professional women, and men, can relate to, especially those that are, dare I say it.. a little high maintenance.

I touch on a range of topics including young professionalism, midwest travel, fashion and day-to-day life experiences. I believe in supporting and empowering young professionals to live their best lives and to have fun along the way!

I work hard to put forth fun and relative content that my audience can enjoy and possibly learn something from. As an Indiana University Bloomington graduate, I strive for Highly High Maintenance to be illuminating, fun and fabulous.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook & Instagram and subscribe to my most recent posts!

Wait, there’s more!

I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations and a Minor in Psychology.

I am a marketer, world-traveler, writer, dog mom and volunteer at heart. I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes when I was 15 months old, and although my disease does not define me, it has shaped me into who I am today.

In my free time, you can catch me spending time with friends and family or more-than-likely, running around with my crazy fur baby, Marshall.

The name for the blog came from a personal matter… simply the fact that I am high maintenance and I know it! However, I choose to own it and use it to help me accomplish my goals in life, and I hope you do too!

I am incredibly passionate about empowering others to be their happiest selves. I started Highly High Maintenance as a way to share knowledge and experiences to empower others to live their best lives and challenge themselves to accomplish their goals, no matter how big or small.
